Before The Build

Excavated lot for new home build
This is the excavated site prior to construction.

Steve and Lindsey bought their dream property and wanted to build their dream home. They contacted Destination Estates as they were looking for a contractor who they knew could get the project done in a reasonable timeframe. They also wanted someone who has a proven record of happy customers and high-quality results.

Building a home is a big project that can easily go over budget and get delayed. When you're investing so much into your dream home, you want to make your contractor shares your perspective and does a good job of ensuring you always have the information that you need.

Pouring The Foundation

Foundation on new home build
The foundation of the home is being poured.

Framing The House

Framed custom home
The walls are being constructed and the house is beginning to take shape.

Notable Details

Plastic tubing for radiant floor heating
Plastic tubing is laid throughout the floor and is hooked up to a water boiler. The system pushes warm water throughout the tubes.
We added radiant floor heating throughout the basement. Radiant heat is comfortable on your feet as you walk across the warm floors. It is an efficient heating method. Radiant floor heating is a great way to make your basement feel less like a basement.
Douglas fir trusses
Truss professionals installing these beautiful Douglas fir truss archways.
To create a country ranch aesthetic we used Douglas fir trusses as archways in both the front and back of the house. The beams are from British Columbia. The trusses were assembled and installed by local professionals.
Herringbone pattern tile floor
We created a herringbone pattern tile floor in the front entrance and laundry room. The pattern provides a beautiful and unique look.
